Written proof from people on freesound.org ?

Freesound.org offer a lot of sound effects that have a Creative Commons 0 licence. I understand that we can use these to modify, copy, distribute and use them for commercial uses but does that still mean I need to get written proof to use them from the person that created them in the first place ?
